MegaEpoxy D501 is used for 3-15mm horizontal and vertical bonding of antacid ceramics, industrial ceramics, granites, glass mosaics, glass bricks and marbles, indoors and outdoors, on floors where there are underfloor heating systems with high temperature changes, where chemical resistance, impermeability and high mechanical strength are required.
MegaEpoxy D501 is suitable for use in many wet areas and hygienic environments such as food industry, milk, cheese and yoghurt factories, slaughterhouses, dairy, meat integrated facilities, wine and breweries, bottling and filling facilities, industrial kitchens, hospitals and laboratories, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industry, swimming pools containing salt or thermal water, wastewater treatment plants.

• High wear resistance: ≤ 250 mm3 TS EN 12808 - 2
• Bending strength after dry storage: ≥ 30 N/mm2 TS EN 12808 - 3
• Compression strength after dry storage: ≥ 45 N/mm2 TS EN 12808 - 3
• Shrinkage: ≤ 1.5 mm/m TS EN 12808 - 4
• Reduced water absorption, 240 min. at the end: ≤ 0.1 gr TS EN 12808 - 5
• Slip: < 0.5 mm TS EN 12004-2, 8.2
Application Limits
• Use time of the prepared mixture - Pot life: Maximum 45 minutes.
• Pre-drying time: Minimum 5 hours
• Time to open to traffic: Minimum 24 hours
• Full cure: Minimum 7 days
• Surface and ambient temperature during application should be between +10°C and +30°C.
• The surface temperature must be at least +3oC above the dew point.
• Do not apply in environments where the ambient temperature is below +10oC and the relative humidity is above 75%.
Mixing ratio
• Component A (4.650 kg) and component B (0.350 kg) must be mixed thoroughly.
Consumption
• Consumption amount when used as an adhesive; 3.0 - 3.5 kg/m2. A surface of approximately 1.3 - 1.6 m2 is covered with one set of products.
• When used as a joint filler; The amount of consumption varies according to the condition of the application surface and the dimensions of the coating material used.
