EAA - Emre Arolat Architecture
The Kuzu Effect project spans 188,000 square meters and features a 17-story block, a 46-story block, a three-story shopping mall, a three-story horizontal office block, a three-story home-office block, and social facilities.
Kuzu Effect holds the distinction of being Ankara's first mixed-use project to earn LEED Gold certification. The building incorporates extensive water and energy efficiency features, integrated from its earliest conceptual design phase.
Kuzu Effect marks world-renowned architect Emre Arolat's debut project in Ankara. With its distinctive architectural design, the project has transformed the city's skyline.
ESBAU
The Kuzu Effect Mall features 332 operable skylight windows in its roof, equipped with premium D+H window actuators from ‘esbau building systems’. These skylight windows flood the mall with natural daylight while providing efficient ventilation through their modern design and technology. Integrated sensors and actuators, controlled by D+H's GVL ventilation panels, maintain fresh indoor air, enhance visitor comfort, and improve the building's energy efficiency.
Several skylight windows are integrated into the critical SHEV fire safety system. These panels, connected to D+H's RZN-SHEV control panels, automatically open when fire alarms trigger, allowing quick evacuation of smoke and heat. This system keeps escape routes smoke-free and ensures safe building evacuation.
These systems have enhanced both the project's high safety standards and contributed to Kuzu Effect Mall's LEED Gold certification, advancing its environmental sustainability goals.
DORMAKABA
The entrances are equipped with dormakaba KTV revolving doors, BST curved sliding doors, and ST automatic sliding doors. The glass systems incorporate panic exit hardware and glass accessories.
The project incorporated 109 HSW Easy Safe panels, including 27 automatic sliding door panels that established passage points. The system was designed with a height of 3,795 mm to integrate seamlessly with the facade.
