Designed by CM Architecture in collaboration with Hasan Mingü and Midek Mingü, the Gebze Center Shopping Mall has become one of the region's most popular shopping destinations since 2010, featuring user-oriented design with bright, spacious interiors. Located in the Gebze district of Kocaeli, the building houses various amenities including retail spaces, dining venues, sports facilities, children's areas, entertainment zones, cinemas, and an ice skating rink.

The building's most distinctive feature is its common inner courtyard, around which all spaces and corridors are organized. Commercial areas face inward, surrounding this central opening. The gallery level features kiosks, seating areas, and an ice rink.

The corridor system ensures smooth circulation, wrapping around the central courtyard that serves as the focal point for all spaces. This courtyard, the building's key aesthetic and functional element, features a glass roof. This design creates a spacious, light-filled atmosphere, maximizing natural light throughout the corridors and interior spaces.

The space frame system spans this wide opening elegantly and seamlessly, allowing maximum natural light to flow through while eliminating the need for column-beam supports. This design enhances both energy efficiency and visitor comfort.

The space truss system, engineered by USKON Space Systems, creates a double-sloping roof with surfaces rising at a 3° angle. Standing 2500 mm high, the space frame system spans 33.45 m at its widest point and covers an area of 8910 sqm.
