The interior architectural concept design and projects of the floor halls, circulation areas, consumption areas, wet areas and parking areas of the Shopping Mall located in Edirnekapı, the heart of Istanbul's commercial district, with the signature of Sur Yapı and Hayat Holding, were prepared by TEAM Project.

Axis Istanbul stands as a mixed-use block that encompasses the needs of everyday life, with inviting forms and dynamic spatial planning. This structure is a living complex that paves the way for a variety of functional spaces such as stores, sports centers, event areas, play zones, and movie theaters. In the interior design project of the building, a focus was placed on spatial scenarios with high adaptability, considering the wide range of users and their changing needs. Key design principles, such as flexibility, adaptability, orientation, inclusivity, material selection, natural/artificial lighting, and the use of green spaces, emerged as core elements shaping the design approach.

The relational structure of interior and architectural design has been built upon strategies aimed at optimizing the user experience. In this project, both the functionality and aesthetic value of the spaces have been prioritized. Especially in the design of circulation areas and floor corridors, strategic arrangements have been made to facilitate user orientation. Additionally, modular design solutions have been implemented to ensure the spaces can easily adapt to changing needs.

Elements such as lighting, color palette and material selection have been carefully chosen to increase the psychological and physical comfort of the users. Natural and sustainable materials are preferred and an environmentally friendly design approach is adopted. Wood materials, especially in the entrance area and vertical surfaces, have created a warm and inviting space atmosphere, and a dynamic image has been achieved by using blue and green color palettes. The design identity of the space is deepened by integrating green areas into the interior.

Axis Istanbul Shopping Mall offers its users a rich and diverse spatial experience. Designed with the flexibility to meet the needs of a wide range of users, this project has attracted attention with its contemporary design approach and sustainability principles.
