Riyadh, the capital city of Saudi Arabia, is a huge metropolis established in the middle of the Nefud desert, where more than 7.5 million people live. On the outskirts of the city, which is one of the most important business centers of the Middle East; Al Kasabi House, which is a self-enclosed multi-dwelling structure located on a dune land, is a joint work of Ofist, which is known for its creative and bold design decisions in our country, and the leading architectural design office Teğit Mimarlık. The solution of architectural design and interior design by two separate teams with a democratic and transitional perspective is the most important factor that paves the way for the building to be in full functional and aesthetic harmony at architectural and interior architectural scales.

 

Due to the characteristic features of the desert climate, the climate conditions such as the sudden cooling of the air after sunset and the occasional sandstorm in the region where the high temperature reaches 50 degrees during the day in summer were seen as the main problems that should be addressed in the design and the crust; It has been shaped within the framework of the effective use of natural air conditioning methods in terms of form, material preferences and function.
