Founded by Sevince Bayrak and Oral Göktaş in 2007, SO? It is an Istanbul based studio that focuses on design, architecture and urbanism.
In 2013, they won MoMA / PS1's Young Architects Program and created Sky Spotting Stop for Istanbul Modern, which was exhibited at MoMA and MAXXI. They won the invited competition at the Royal Academy of Arts in 2015; their projects were realized in Unexpected Hill London. Immediately after that, the Lost Barrier installations were installed in Rome and purchased by MAXXI for its permanent architectural collection. Their work has been published internationally, and they were nominated for the prestigious Aga Khan Awards, Mies, and were among the finalists of the Architectural Review Emerging Architecture Award 2019. They made it to the finals for Future Architecture Platform 2019.
