At the end of the 18th century, a modest lodge was established in Istanbul. However, this dervish lodge, which could not resist the effects of time, and where only ruined buildings with foundations remained from its rebuilt structure when we arrived in the 21st century, was Yenikapı Mevlevi Lodge itself.

 

With the repair and protection project carried out by Güryapı Restoration between 2005 and 2010, Yenikapı Mevlevi Lodge has not only returned to its old days, but also started to serve as an international training center within the Fatih Sultan Mehmed Foundation University.
