Prestigious First Prize for DKM Construction
IV. International Sustainable Buildings Symposium
IV. International Sustainable Buildings Symposium - ISBS, which was developed within the scope of a European Union project, was held on 18-20th of July 2019 in Dallas-Texas / USA, Ankara University - Gazi University - Texas Tech University and Texas A&M Commerce University was held at the consortium and was in collaboration with the American Institute of Architects (AIA Dallas) and the US Green Building Council (USGBC). The General Manager of the DKM Construction and Consulting Company C. Volkan Dikmen took part in the symposium with his presentations.
Basic Values of Sound and Thermal Insulation Material Production Project
The jury of the competition consists of the city and building experts from Texas Tech University, Texas A&M Commerce University, American Institute of Architects and the US Green Buildings Council, Ankara University and Gazi University. The jury evaluates each category within the competition projects in terms of city visions, benchmarking with other projects on a global scale, sustainability, effective and productive work, environmental sensitivity, applicability, design, values to be added to the city and society, implementation forms, partnership / stakeholder structure and new approaches.
TUNEX Recyclable Material as a Sustainable Building Material
As a result of the decision of the competition jury, formed by city experts from Ankara University, Gazi University, Texas Tech University, Texas A&M Commerce University, American Institute of Architects and the US Green Building Council, Recyclable TUNEX - Waste Rubber Fire Resistant Sound and Heat Insulation Material Production Project (DKM Construction and Consultancy Industry Trade Inc.) has been awarded with the first prize in the Sustainable Building Materials Category.
The Award Ceremony
The Award Ceremony of the ISBS2019 Sustainability Award - Best Sustainable Applications Competition organized within the scope of IV. International Sustainable Buildings Symposium was held on 19th of July 2019 at the Symposium Premiere which was held at Crowne Plaza Dallas Near Galleria-Addison / Dallas-USA on 19th of July 2019 and the awards were presented to the owners.
