On the exteriors of the buildings

1) Installation and Usage Instructions:
In order to ensure work and worker safety, the safe scaffold must be installed and dismantled by trained personnel under supervision. Once the secured scaffold has been installed, the secured scaffold should not be intervened, changed, horizontal / vertical pipes, metal platforms should not be changed or dismantled except by the authorities. Any modification to be made should be made and approved by authorized persons.

2) Technical Description and Safe scaffolding Installation:
a- Adjusting Spindle:
The secure scaffold must be installed on a smooth surface. Otherwise, there should be height adjustable shafts that will eliminate the surface differences and allow the safe scaffold to come to the scale, and the safe scaffold should be brought to the scale through these. Adjustment shafts must comply with TS EN 73-1 standard. The adjustment shafts should be placed on wide planks that it can fully step on and load distribution should be provided on loose ground. It must be galvanized as required by the standard.

b- Scaffolding Panels:
Safe scaffold legs are made of iron profile with a diameter of 48 mm and a wall thickness of 3.00 mm, and must have pins to allow the mounting of the side rails at every 50 cm (knee and hub alignment). In order to fix the metal platforms, the upper panalor locks the metal platforms below. Security scaffolding panels must be hot dip galvanized in accordance with TS EN 12810 standard.

c- Metal Platforms:
Metal platforms can be made of at least 2 mm sheet metal or thinner sheets with the same strength (min: 1.5 mm) reinforced by special shape. A metal platform has a width of 30 cm, a thickness of 60 mm, and a length of 250 cm. In addition, there are hooks at both ends of the metal platform, which are reinforced to fit vertical legs. Load class 3 metal platforms per m2 min. Load class 4 metal platforms capable of carrying 200 kg uniformly distributed load are min. It will have the strength to carry 300 kg of uniformly distributed load. 2 metal platforms will be used in each module secure scaffolding. The continuity of metal platforms will be provided on each floor and will surround the building all around. Hot dip galvanized coating must be applied to the platforms.

d- Horizontal railings:
Worker safety will be provided by using horizontal handrails at every 50 cm in double rows (at knee and belly level). End parts should also be covered with side rails. Horizontal railings must be hot-dip galvanized to rust.

e- Shinguard - Heel Board:
It has to be hot dip galvanized, 15 cm high, adjacent to the work surface. It is obligatory to be on the floors where the work is done.

f- Ladder System:
The ladder system is used to provide up and down between floors. It is covered with a tray and can be opened when necessary. The ladders will not be fixed, so they can be hung up when necessary and will provide those who work under them. Hot dip galvanized coating must be applied.

g- Anchor - Connection:
The connection is used to fix the secure scaffolding to the facade. Connections should be made with the fixing dowels mounted on the facade and the elements connected to these dowels. It must be connected with these elements in the number specified in the static project used for security.
