Considering the foreign trade of the sector; Türkiye’s natural stone exports are approximately 2 billion dollars. The export of natural stone should be aimed not in tons, but in grams over processed products. In this context, innovative designs and products with high added value are needed in order to increase both the market share and the export amount of the natural stone industry.
At this point, the importance of talented designers comes to the front. In the light of this information; the main purpose of the International Novel Natural Stone Design Competition, which will be held for the 5th time, is to bring young and talented designers to the natural stone industry. The competitive power of the sector will increase with the original designs and products that will be put forward by young and talented designers.
