CDS was established in Istanbul in 2015 with the brand "Critical Design Studio".
Founding partners based on over 10 years of experience in CDS, about 5 years in Turkey as well as Bulgaria, Ethiopia, Algeria, Saudi Arabia and many comprehensive projects were carried out in Peru. During the projects, local partnerships were established in London and Addis Ababa. CDS mainly focuses on urban design and architectural project processes.
CDS established its second headquarters and company structure in 2019 in Hannover, Germany, and continues its international work from Istanbul and Hannover.
