The use of light and shadow in architecture may vary. Places of traditional Japanese culture are known for its dim light, dull atmospheres. In modern architecture and minimalism, light, white spaces and light reflections are evident.
Even if black, dark spaces create opposing views of minimalism, they can speak the same language in terms of new material use and new lighting design possibilities.
